Devices

This page will step you through the process of requesting your YCSD computer device.  Scholars in grades K-2 will receive an iPad, scholars in grades 3-12 will receive a Chromebook, and scholars at RECMS or YRECHS (9th-10th) will receive an iPad.  These devices will be assigned to the scholars for the entire year, and will be returned at the end of the year.

There is a 2-step process to requesting devices.  PLEASE READ BOTH STEPS BEFORE PROCEEDING.  We want this process to be as contactless as possible, so we have implemented an electronic request process for devices. 

REQUESTING DEVICES - STEP 1
1.  The Parent/Guardian will fill out a very simple electronic form requesting the device for their scholar.  ONE FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED PER SCHOLAR.  Upon completion of the form, the parent/guardian will receive an email that their request was received.

2.  The parent/guardian will receive a SECOND message when their request has been completed. 

DEVICE DISTRIBUTION - STEP 2

Devices will be delivered to scholars at the school buildings on August 31st and September 1st between the hours of 9am-1pm and 4pm-7pm at each of our schools.

Prior to proceeding to the school to pick up devices, the parent/guardian should make sure that they have received the SECOND message indicating that their request has been completed.
