Welcome to the Youngstown City School District’s website.  Our technology team has collaborated to make our website more user-friendly and attractive.

The Youngstown Board of Education and I desire that our school district be as transparent as possible in providing a comprehensive array of services to our students and our community.  Our services span from early childhood development to senior citizens participating in GED preparation classes.

The Youngstown City Schools and our community are undergoing a tremendous transition and collectively we will emerge successfully.  Our new schools will serve as a catalyst to improved learning.  The District’s Strategic Plan is focused on improving reading, math, and school environment, with an emphasis on a standards-based effort involving our community:  parents, learners, and faculty.
