During Right to Read Week, students at Rayen Early College Middle School (RECMS) not only celebrated their love for reading with themed spirit days but also embraced the spirit of giving. As part of the week's events, students organized a donation drive to support the Mahoning County Dog Warden, collecting much-needed supplies for the shelter's dogs.

Volunteers from the shelter visited the school to pick up the donations, and students were thrilled to see their efforts make a direct impact. This initiative not only reinforced the importance of literacy but also fostered a sense of community and compassion among students.

RECMS is proud of its scholars for demonstrating kindness and generosity, proving that small actions can make a big difference.
