Rayen Early College Middle School recently launched a new initiative—Math Stars—to support students in strengthening their math skills ahead of the upcoming state assessments. As part of this program, every scholar received a math workbook to complete at home, providing valuable extra practice beyond the classroom.
This initiative is made possible through a partnership with the school’s Parent-Teacher Organization, the Tiger Pack. Their generous support has helped ensure the program's success by donating a variety of incentives to reward students for their dedication. Scholars who complete their weekly assignments have the chance to earn REC gear, fidget toys, snacks, and other exciting prizes.
This math initiative has been met with great enthusiasm, and students have been putting in tremendous effort as they prepare for the test. Rayen Early College Middle School is proud of its scholars’ commitment to academic excellence and is grateful for the continued support of families and the community.
