The Golden Bears JROTC program delivered an outstanding performance at the McKinley Drill Meet recently n Canton, finishing second overallāfalling just two points short of first place. The competition was fierce, and in a twist of fate, East's LET 1 Color Guard tied for first place, only to lose the top spot due to a coin toss tiebreaker. Without that toss, East would have claimed first place overall!
The team placed in every event, showcasing the hard work and dedication of its Cadets. Special recognition goes to SFC Sam Wolford, who stepped up in the absence of a sick team leader, ensuring the Cadets remained focused and prepared. Please join us in congratulating these scholars!
