Flyer Distribution
Overview
Youngstown City School District reviews distribution material requests from organizations on a case-by-case basis. These materials include flyers, including digital, print, brochures, and posters.
The program, activity, or event must be centered on the PreK-12 audience we serve and educational and/or enrichment-focused. The Communications and Public Relations Department reviews and approves all flyers at its sole discretion.
Process
To request flyer approval, complete the electronic request form and follow the steps below.
1. Upload your flyer for approval at least two weeks in advance (for this school year, we are reviewing requests until May 19, 2025).
2. Uploads should not be scanned copies and in PNG or PDF format
3. Flyers must include the name and contact information of the organization
4. Flyers must indicate that the event/activity is not affiliated with Youngstown City School District
5. Flyers must not directly compete with current district programs
6. As the district has a Spanish-speaking population, it is appreciated to also offer materials in English and Spanish
7. The district typically does not post flyers on its social media channels or website. Postings are on a case-by-case basis
8. If the organization would like to distribute printed copies, they are responsible for any printing
9. The district will not approve flyers that are promoting professional services
10. The district will not approve flyers that are religious or affiliated with a political party
11. Flyer requests will be approved weekly and are at the sole discretion of the district
