High School summer school credit recovery and middle school summer camp registration is now open!

Summer programming at YCSD is an opportunity for scholars to help with transitioning to the next grade level, earn credit recovery, and participate in enrichment activities that promote learning.

For High Schoolers in Grades 9-12

9-12 Grade High School Credit Recovery at Chaney and East: June 11-July 3

Summer programming for high school allows scholars who have previously failed a course the opportunity to recover credit that is required for graduation.

For Middle Schoolers in Grades 6-8

6-8 Grade Middle School Summer Camp: June 11-July 3

Why Come to Camp? This isn't a typical school...

You’ll get to be a chef, music artist, writer, money manager, survivalist, overcomer, and creative writer!

Chaney High School Credit Recovery Summer 2025

  • Dates Time: June 11-July 3, M-F, 8:00-12:00

  • Who: Currently enrolled Chaney 9th-12th graders

  • Description: Scholars who previously failed and need to recover core credit in Math, English, Science, or Social Studies for graduation

Middle School Summer Camp

  • Dates and Time: June 11-July 3, M-F, 8:30-12:00

  • Who: Currently enrolled 6-8 graders

  • Description: Daily activities and learned skills such as cooking, music, writing, money management, and more!

  • Where: *Location to be determined. It will be a district school.

  • Transportation: District transportation (yellow bus); Bus riders in grades K-8 will receive transportation if they are in more than a two-mile walk zone
