The purpose of the Youngstown City School District band is to entertain the public at our football games and community events, foster school spirit, and provide a structured, positive atmosphere in which our Scholars can thrive! Check out for yourself our talented scholars performances and learn below how your scholar can join us this fall.
New members with any or no experience are welcome to join. We will teach you what you’ll need to know and provide instruments, uniforms, and transportation.
Our Band Camp will be held in the East Band Room at East High School, 474 Bennington Ave. Youngstown, OH 44505.
The dates of Band Camp are July 17th thru Aug. 18th (Mon. thru Fri.) from 10 am to 1 pm.
After the conclusion of Band Camp, there will be a free trip to Kennywood Park.
To register your scholar, please get in touch with Shawn Marko or Steven Ferenczy and provide your contact information (name, address & phone number) so they can add you to their mailing list. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there!
