Black History Month honors the sacrifices, contributions, and achievements of African Americans across the nation. Schools will hold celebrations and events in honor of Black History Month such as performances and a wellness event in conjunction with the NAACP on Wednesday, February 21 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the Newport Library.
