Congratulations to Chaney Cowboys standout, Jason Hewlett, for committing to the University of Michigan. WKBN recently highlighted Hewlett’s announcement, and detailed his impressive feats this season; Hewlett was a part of leading the Cowboys to a record 10-2.
Coach Seth Antrom said that additionally, this season, “Jason was an impact player in all three phases of the game. On offense and special teams, he made very timely big plays and was dominant on defense all season long. It’s great to see all of his hard ward be rewarded with a scholarship of this caliber. We know Jason is excited about playing for Coach Steve Clinskscale, who is a Chaney graduate, at the University of Michigan.”
Antram added that Jason has helped raise expectations and the culture of the team that will help build a foundation of success for the future.
